Sacramento, CA - “If we say, ‘We have fellowship with him,’ and yet we walk in darkness, we are lying and are not practicing the truth.” [1 John 1:6]
Light encompasses many powers. The power to guide; the power to uncover; and even the power to change lives. When we find ourselves in darkness, we are stumbling for survival. Fear exists in the shadows, but the Light of the Lord removes the fear. That is why we move toward the light and turn our backs to the dark.
“‘The Light (Brokenfinga Remix)’ is a newer rendition to a song that was originally on my debut album ‘The State of Address’ which just celebrated it’s 10th anniversary of it’s initial release. The hope for this is that people will come to an encounter with The Light…Jesus!” - JusJames
As he prepares for the release of his remix EP, JusJames drops the first single The Light (Brokenfinga Remix) on April 5, 2024.
The new single features fellow Polished Arrow Music artist iNTELLECT. The duo share their experiences of being in the darkness before coming to the light! It is a message that connects with individuals from every walk of life, this plays off of the way the West Coast and Midwest artists connect their own approach to form a unified sound. With Brokenfinga’s production, The Light gets a revitalization, keeping it relevant 10 years after it’s initial release.
From expertly curated samples to boom bap drums, gifted wordplay to enhancing melodies, The Light (Brokenfinga Remix) offers unique elements that creates a rememberable experience for every listener.
