(NASHVILLE) -- Nashville based Indie pop duo, Clemency, bring an inspiring, hope-filled anthem with their new single “Victory.” Serving as a follow up to their previous track “Promised Land”— "Victory" paints a picture of the joyous celebration that awaits at the end of the journey, when Christ overcomes death. It encourages listeners to link arms together in faith and press on with their eyes on the prize.
“When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: ‘Death is swallowed up in victory.’ ‘O death, where is your victory?’ O death, where is your sting?’ The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” “This is our hope and song!” Says Jason. “VICTORY!!”
With its soaring melodies and chorus of angelic voices echoing throughout, “Victory” adds to the cinematic narrative that Jason and Paul endeavor to tell with their music — a soundtrack for the voyage of the human heart in this life. “The songs we write are reflections of the life, love, hope and beauty we seek” said Paul and Jason.
“Victory” is available everywhere today. Listen HERE.
