The new record is the second release that resulted from a writing session inspired by beats from producer Daniel Potts. The result is an eclectic, adventurous sonic ride that engages the listener throughout record’s entire run.
Mullin stands as a bridge between the modern era of CHH and its foundational roots. As a student of the artists who worked to push the genre to its current status, Mullin finds unique ways to bring the past and present together that feel authentic.

Darius Mullin is a rapper, writer, and musician from Jackson, Tennessee. He started writing and performing hip hop in his early teens after being introduced to the medium by his dad, a seminary professor. His style is reminiscent of Shai Linne, Propaganda, and John Reuben. Although his original music is primarily hip hop, he also appreciates the opportunity to play some folk music or indie rock with local acts.
