He Rules the World is for the entire family and aims to be a perennial Christmas tradition that brings multiple generations together. Creators Peter and Jennifer Emerson are producing He Rules the World with all ages in mind and with inspiration from musical influences such as Stevie Wonder, Pink Floyd, and Styx. The Emersons are bringing a first look to early supporters and national press before returning in December 2024 for its week-long Waco debut.

SYNOPSIS

From Executive Producer Kevin Sorbo, He Rules the World is an exciting, family-friendly live-performance concert event. He Rules the World blends rock ‘n’ roll, narration, and animation to create an immersive, Broadway-caliber experience that tells the whole story of the Nativity in a fresh and meaningful way. This story immerses audiences through experiential and lyrical character development by those who experienced it first hand. The concert starts with the prophecies that foretold the coming of Christ and chronologically takes the audience to the fulfillment of those prophecies through the viewpoints of Mary, Joseph, the Angel Gabriel, the Innkeeper, Herod, and the Wise Men. He Rules the World uses both familiar Christmas themes and original material to seamlessly develop into a new and rich musical tapestry for the entire family to enjoy. He Rules the World features original songs inspired by familiar Christmas music and is supported by animation, lights, and imagery to help tell the story, along with narration by Kevin Sorbo. 

About He Rules The World

He Rules the World is a family-friendly, contemporary live concert that blends song, narration, and imagery to tell the Nativity story in its entirety. He Rules the World is not an acted-out play, but an immersive concert experience that uses lyrical character development to explore the characters of the Nativity story as God’s plan is fulfilled. He Rules the World was primarily arranged by Peter B. Emerson, a composer, educator, performer, and church musician based in Texas. Additional members of the production team include script writer and stage director Terri Lynn Castleberry, executive producer Jennifer Emerson, executive producer and narrator Kevin Sorbo (Hercules, God’s Not Dead), director and videographer Matt Chauncey (Frame), and co-producer and featured performer David Gaschen (The Phantom of the Opera). He Rules the World is designed to be both a world-class concert experience and a ministry outreach to help people understand and embrace the true meaning of Christmas. 

About ITSUIC Music LLC

ITSUIC Music LLC is a production company co-founded by Peter B. Emerson and Jennifer Emerson. The company name is an acronym for It’s You I See, which comes from the title track of Peter’s album It’s You I See, a collection of original compositions and jazz standards. Peter and Jennifer founded ITSUIC Music LLC shortly after Peter shared his vision for He Rules the World with Jennifer. Jennifer was drawn to the faith-based project as something she could experience with her young daughter year after year, especially in a world where age-appropriate entertainment options are limited. After several months of prayer, hard work, setbacks, determination, perseverance, and amazing opportunities – sometimes all at the same time – they brought He Rules the World to stage. Peter and Jennifer hope to expand the reach of He Rules the World in future years while simultaneously developing additional faith-based projects.
