September 6, 2024 - Los Angeles, CA- Following the release of his debut solo single “Thank You So Much Jesus” with LANY’s Paul Klein, Aodhán King from Hillsong Young & Free has just unveiled two brand new songs: “Without You” and “Pray You Never Leave,” both available across all streaming platforms.
Both tracks produced by industry veteran Jason Ingram and Ben Ten, the Australian-born singer/songwriter wrote the songs at two different times in his life, never planning on releasing them together, but God had a different plan:
“I felt as though one song couldn’t exist without the other,” explains Aodhán. “ ‘Without You’ was originally written at a time when I was in the middle of trying to decide whether I should leave Australia and move to the US. The song is simply me asking God to light the way and go before me because there was no way I could do it without Him. Years later I find myself living in America writing with Jason Ingram, a hero and a songwriter I’ve looked up to for many years. In that moment I was completely aware that none of this would have been possible without the kindness of God, by my side, orchestrating every detail. That day we wrote ‘Pray You Never Leave’.”
“My hope is that as you listen to these songs you would be encouraged to invite Jesus into your every moment, there’s no reason to go through life alone,” says Aodhán. “He longs to be the light unto your path and your friend through every season.”
