Charlotte, NC (September 27, 2024) — Elevation Español, the Spanish-language branch of Elevation Worship, releases their latest album, Algo Nuevo Viene.

This project marks the beginning of a new season for Elevation Español, showcasing a fresh expression of worship specifically crafted for Latin America. After years of releasing Spanish translations under the Elevation Worship umbrella, this collection of songs takes a bold step into a different era of ministry.

Algo Nuevo Viene carries deep significance for the team. "This album symbolizes our new journey as Elevation Español, a ministry designed to serve the Latin church with more important translations and original songs for the future,” says the group.

“We’re excited to build something more while continuing to deliver the message of God’s power and presence through worship.” With the theme of "under construction" throughout the album’s visuals and artwork, the project mirrors the growth and transformation happening within them.

The album features a mix of powerful themes, including revival and spiritual renewal, especially evident in tracks like “Viento Y Fuego.”

Elevation Español notes that the collaboration with notable artists such as Unified Sound, Miel San Marcos, and ELEVATION RHYTHM enhances the depth and diversity of this project. The influence of Latin musical styles adds a dynamic layer to traditional songs like “Alaba” and “Jehová”, while acoustic versions provide an intimate worship experience, ensuring there is something for everyone in this project.

Algo Nuevo Viene not only represents a musical release but the foundation of a new chapter for Elevation Español. Their goal is to build a platform that will allow for more timely and culturally relevant worship music.

As they embark on tours to Perú, México City, and Colombia this fall, the team looks forward to sharing these songs live, creating space for worshippers to experience God’s presence in fresh, impactful ways.

ABOUT ELEVATION ESPAÑOL: Elevation Español is the Spanish language ministry of Elevation Church, a multi-site church based in Charlotte, NC led by Pastor Steven Furtick. The church has released 5 Spanish albums such as Lo Harás Otra Vez, Aleluya (En La Tierra), Tumbas A Jardines, LEÓN, and Algo Nuevo Viene. Elevation Español is passionate about producing songs for the local church that connect others to God. Their main priority is to create an atmosphere of worship so people can encounter Jesus personally. They released “Alaba,” a Spanish version of the hit Elevation Worship single, “Praise,” on March 1. The recent version has become a viral hit on social media and streaming platforms. It has also become a top song within church setlists all over the world. Elevation Español has performed live in countries like Perú, Colombia, and Guatemala with crowds as large as 13,000. Whether it’s translations, song covers, or remixes, the goal of Elevation Español is to spread the message of Elevation Worship’s songs and create resources that bless the hispanic church.
