Legendary Christian rock band The 77s are back. The guys recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund their first new album in 22 years! Check out their Kickstarter announcement below, and click here to check out the campaign:

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND – THE 77s with an album of ALL NEW SONGS – our first in 22 years!!  Ever since we released our last project of original material “Direct” in 1992, 77s fans have clamored non-stop for more new original material.  We are now VERY excited to finally be releasing some of the most exciting tunes we’ve ever done, and it’s all thanks to you and your continued interest in our music. 

From our humble beginnings in 1979 as The Scratch Band to the present group, our goal has always been to be much more to you than just another rock & roll band.  We think of the families and support teams over the decades, both on tour and in correspondence with us via letters, phone messages, e-mail and social media, and our hearts continue to be filled with joy and thankfulness for how deeply we have touched all of your lives.  Believe us when we say that you have touched our lives as deeply.  We feel it every time we hear from you, and this new record is our love letter of gratitude to you as you’ve continued to support us both financially and spiritually.  Though we haven’t always been there for you, you continue to be there for us!  For that, we are forever in your debt and this new project is our way of saying thanks for all the love you’ve shown us throughout the years.

We have decided to launch a Kickstarter campaign to help get the word out about this big event, and also to provide you with more than just a new record.  We’ve got high quality downloads, amazingly cool vinyl designs, CDs featuring exclusive bonus tracks, t-shirts, stickers, coasters, Zippo lighters and so more!  In order for this new release to be successful, we need each and every one of you to get into the campaign and earn as many rewards as you can.  The higher you go, the more you get and there’s plenty to be had!  Won’t you join us today and help us beat out our rivals like The Choir and other lesser known acts with a pledge worthy of your fandom?  ;) We want to take you higher, and this is your chance to help us achieve that!  We’re also just really excited for you to finally hear what we’ve been working on in the studio.  It all began with the music, and the music is still there.  ROCK AND ROLL IS ALIVE and it’s called simply “7”.

Key notes from Team 77s. There are two steps when choosing your backing level.
FIRST, select your "reward" tier from the initial backing level like the vinyl, CD and other merch bundles or combinations. 
NEXT, CLICK the ADD ON page, which will give you individualized options of every merch items experiences that you can add A La Carte. 

See LP Style Options Below: There are two color options for vinyl (Color Combo Style 1 & Color Combo Style 2) and there is a black LP option *see image below that shows which color combo style is 1 and 2.  All vinyl are 12" LP 180g with a gatefold jacket and 12" insert). There are some very cool merch items and 77s experiences that are part of the general "reward" tiers you pledge for, but you can customize your reward tier selection with individual merch items and experiences. See the two steps above for direction. A digital download comes in every reward tier - everyone gets the album digitally. 

77s "experience" items include an Executive Producer credit or Associate Producer credit in the vinyl & CD packaging, your name & thanked in the vinyl & CD packaging, signed handwritten lyric of your favorite 77s song and a Zoom/Facetime with Mike!
