After critical success with their joint album ‘In The Name,’ emcees Illustrate and Procyse collaborates with producer Daniel Degree to deliver fans a remixed version of the track All My Life.
“Daniel hit me up and said he remixed the whole album for us because he was inspired. He brought new life to the entire project and so we felt it was only right to add something a little extra and get some new features as well.” - Procyse
All My Life marks the first single from the project that is fully remixed by Daniel Degree.
Releasing across digital streaming platforms on October 18, 2024, the remix includes a guest feature from Polished Arrow Music’s iNTELLECT. The inclusion of iNTELLECT and the reimagined production from Daniel Degree breathes new life into a standout record from the album.
As Procyse explained, “iNTELLECT loved the new beats and jumped on the track to really bring it home.”
While on the surface the changes may come subtly through the speakers, Daniel Degree infused All My Life with a brightness that plays well in contrast to the song’s original form. There are comforting levels of familiarity and a feeling of hearing the record for the first time. It is truly a showcase of the art that a remix can be without the need to go over the top and risk it feeling foreign to fans who love the original.
