“Messiah, Price Of Peace
He rescued me
he is the everlasting Father
Yeshua, he saved my life
On that night
I didn’t know I was his daughter
Made in the image of my Father
Oh, He is the power, He is the glory
He sent an army of his angels who fight for me
This is his spirit, dwelling within me
I gave him my sins, I’m new within, my God is for me
The lamb of God, beloved son
Oh, this is my Jesus
This is my Jesus
Good Shepherd
guides and protects
this daily bread
I know my prayers they will not falter
Wonderful Counselor
my cornerstone
Upon the throne
You call his name and he will answer
He is the God of signs and wonders …”
The official video produced in Pensacola, FL, by Nathaniel Guinis scheduled to premiere her official artist YouTube Channel on 11/1/2024 at 11:11 am Pacific HERE.
“This Is My Jesus” is about some of the names we call Jesus, and it ties into the meaning of those names and how they pertain to Jess’s story and listeners. The line “Yeshua, he saved my life, on that night” Yeshua means to rescue or to ‘save.’ There is an “alt chorus” at the end of the Worship version of this song that offers more names of Jesus that were cut for the radio version, so she ensured we kept it in for the accompanying music video.
“Because I recorded this song in Florida, I sang all the harmonies and choir parts, which was so fun! I had this vision for the music video to have a few of my clients and Worship Leader friends who are so special to me, be in the soon-to-be-released music video with me, singing along and worshipping along with me. This video documents such an important moment for me, and I’m so grateful to have these special, selected singers that I care for, with me. It was so exciting to do this with them. I had shirts, hats and sweatshirts made for them to wear. I pulled words or lyrics from the song and carefully selected what word went with each person. All of the clothing pieces are available on my website. Since we did all that work, why not have them available for everyone! A lot of time, love and thought went into this piece of work on every level. This song, I believe, its the best song I’ve ever written,” exclaimed Jess Ford.

About Jess Ford:
Jessica Ford “Jess” recently made a huge transition, leaving the secular world, and boldly jumping headfirst into the Christian, Praise & Worship genre. The debut single she just released in August 2024, called “My Strength Is In The Lord,” quickly made its way to radio and has done very well landing on almost 333 Spotify Playlists in just a couple weeks of its release.
God said, “the time is now”. So Jess immediately went into action and knew it was time to leave KARMACODA, a multi-award-winning secular music band after eight incredible years. Some people might think this is crazy, especially when the band has garnered support from reputable online publications such as EARMILK, CLASH Magazine, Wonderland Magazine, NOTION Mag, Magnetic Mag, Hotpress, Metal Magazine, Medium, Backseat Mafia, CelebMix, Son Of Marketing, VENTS Magazine, HMWL, EDM Identity, Faze Magazine, and Decoded Mag and their her work has earned her countless awards, including the Hermes Creative Award (Platinum) and the Unglued Music Video (Gold) along with multiple Telly Awards. But Jess left and moved forward quickly.
God has called her to offer her voice to him as a living sacrifice and she has honored and obeyed.
Before the band, when Jess lived in Nashville, TN she was writing with Nashville’s elite. One of which was Duane Deemer, “Cowboy” and together they were honored with a Dove Family Film Award, Winners of the 2013 Best Song In an Animated Film, Winner of the Youth Excellence Award, Winner of the Alaska Film Festival Kodiak Award for “Best
Children’s Song In Film”, Winner of the USCAFA (United States Children’s Animated Film Award) Crystal Award winner for the song “I Do Believe”, Winner of the Dove Family Film Seal Award, Winner of the Pickleberry Award for ‘Best Family Film’ and ‘Best Score’ in an animated film for “I Can Fly.” They are the Winners of the Great Lakes Film Festival Award for ‘Best Animated Film,’ ‘Parents Choice Award’ and ‘Oregon Family Film Festival Crystal Award’. Jess and Duane wrote songs that were placed in a children’s animated film. One of the songs, “Waiting For Christmas Day,” was recorded by Grammy Award winner Linda Davis.
One of Jess’s favorite accomplishments during her Nashville days is receiving the 2011 TSAI (Tennessee Songwriters Association Inc.) honorary “Hallman Award,” given only to a very elite group of music industry professionals.
Jessica is a vocalist in every sense of the word, and she has been singing professionally and training and coaching singers for 20 years. She was deemed “Nashville’s Premiere Vocal Coach” for ten years until she moved to California in 2015, which turned out to be a huge leap forward in her coaching career. She gave her teaching business over to God, and he blessed it beyond her wildest imagination. Jess has helped more than 18 singers get a “golden ticket” on American Idol, and she has helped three singers reach incredible heights on The NBC Voice. Along with American Idol and The Voice, Jessica has coached singers who appeared on AGT, Country Music's "Can You Duet" featured at The Grande Ole Opry. It’s looking like Jess will have a client “going to judges” on American Idol for the 2025 season.
Recently, she was honored in Santa Clara and San Jose, California, and awarded the title ‘BEST OF’ in the music teachers category for five consecutive years, putting her in the Business Hall Of Fame. Still, none of these accomplishments are more important than the work she is doing next—writing, singing and recording music for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
