Nashville, Tenn. (January 24, 2025) — Curb Records artist Stars Go Dim announces his forthcoming album, Roses, set to bloom July 11, 2025. Fans can pre-add, pre-save and pre-order the record beginning today (1/24) HERE. The title-cut also drops today — listen HERE. Additionally, the official music video for the piano-led, choir-assisted “Roses” also releases today — watch HERE.

“I’m using roses as imagery around this whole album to signify this idea that God is working in unexpected places. You see roses growing from things you wouldn’t expect to see them grow from. I think so many times in life we feel like we’re living in a wasteland, and we’re missing the fact that we’re actually standing in forests of green, lush life,” offers Stars Go Dim frontman Chris Cleveland. “If we just slow down, if we just take a look around, if we just say, ‘God, how can I meet You here?’ we’d see that God is moving and working all the time. That’s what Roses is about.”

Stars Go Dim discovers faith in the crevices of daily life across his fourth studio release. Co-producing for the first time, Cleveland embraces the genuine joy that comes from a slower pace and a different point of view on Roses. Exploring his dynamic range across the project’s 11 original tracks, the top-shelf singer chases a retro sound marinated in the groove-heavy beats of the ’70s. From the jangly piano intro of lead single “Mama Don’t Lie (Alright)” to the nostalgic emotional pull of closing track “Good Days,” the fresh LPblossoms with the hope that God is always waiting to be found.

While Cleveland penned the album’s namesake with seasoned songwriters Justin Amundrud and Mitch Wong, he intentionally chose to collaborate with relatively unknown songwriters for the majority of the project, giving many of the writers represented in the credits their first career cut.

In 2024, Stars Go Dim was recognized by the Recording Academy/GRAMMY’s for his song “Live Like That” – a special live performance video was featured in their segment “Positive Vibes Only.” Cleveland is currently previewing new songs from Roses out on the road as he brings “An Evening With Stars Go Dim” to select cities throughout the winter and into the spring.

About Stars Go Dim:

Originally formed as a mainstream pop band, today Stars Go Dim is the moniker for Christian Pop artist and songwriter Chris Cleveland. After years at the helm of an acclaimed independent secular band and more than a decade leading worship at Tulsa’s Asbury United Methodist Church — one of America’s largest congregations — Cleveland found success in the Christian format with his self-titled debut album. The singer has garnered number ones and Top 5 hits at Pop and Christian radio, including the massive No. 1 radio smash in the U.S. with “You Are Loved.” The Dove Award and K-LOVE Fan Award-nominated act has over 240 million streams and its songs have been placed in commercials and ads, including “You Are Loved” being used in an ADT Home Security national commercial. In addition, Chris has toured the world, written, and played with many of the biggest artists in Pop and Christian music in the last 15 years, including: Justin Bieber, John Mayer, The Goo Goo Dolls, Elton John, Billy Joel, Jason DeRulo, The Fray, Natasha Bedingfield, The Roots, Lauren Daigle, for KING & COUNTRY, Bethel Music, Mav City, among others. Chris continues to write songs recorded by many of today’s biggest artists and worship groups. In addition to new song and current radio single, “Mama Don’t Lie (Alright),” the title-track “Roses” from Stars Go Dim’s upcoming album, releases on January 24, 2025, along with the album’s pre-order launch. The new album, Roses, releases on July 11, 2025.
