NASHVILLE, TN (February 24, 2025) – The Isaacs, a multi-GRAMMY-nominated, multi-GMA DOVE Award and Singing News Award-winning group, release their latest original single, "(More Than a) Hollow Hallelujah" to radio. The song follows their debut praise and worship album, Praise & Worship: More Than a Hollow Hallelujah. With a career spanning decades, The Isaacs continue to bridge the worlds of gospel, bluegrass and country music and remain one of the most beloved groups across genres.
Written by group members Lily Isaacs, Ben Isaacs, Sonya Isaacs Yeary and Rebecca Isaacs Bowman and produced by Ben Isaacs, the single carries the group's masterful instrumentation, undeniable family harmonies and heartfelt message about offering authentic worship. "(More Than a) Hollow Hallelujah" reminds listeners that true worship comes from the heart, beyond mere words or routine gestures.
“It’s easy to get distracted with life’s busyness and demands; distracted from the only reason God created us in the first place, to worship Him. I don’t wanna live distracted,” Sonya Isaacs Yeary of The Isaacs stated. “I don’t wanna just go through the motions. He deserves our whole hearts and our sincerest praise every day that we live! There are too many miracles and mysteries in the deep to just splash around in the shallow waters of His greatness. Will you join me in pure earnest worship of our loving Heavenly Father? He is worthy and we need the relationship.”
Superstar Amy Grant, echoes this sentiment, saying, “In a culture of multi-tasking and distraction, “(More Than A) Hollow Hallelujah” is an earnest invitation to be fully present to God, whose Presence is always with us."
Cece Winans, the incomparable, award-winning artist, also weighs in, saying, "The Isaacs are incredible!! I LOVE this song! It's my heart's cry that God deserves more! He deserves only our best - not just a hollow hallelujah."
"(More Than a) Hollow Hallelujah" is available for digital and physical purchase, with the full album available to stream and buy here. Stay connected at https://www.theisaacs.com/ or follow the group on social media for the latest updates and announcements.
