NASHVILLE, TENN. (FEBRUARY 25, 2025) Multi-Platinum selling modern worship artist Phil Wickham releases a brand new single, “The King Is In The Room," along with the official music video last Friday. Premiered exclusively with the national worship radio network Air1, listeners had the first chance to hear the song at the top of every hour all day as part of their Air1 First program. Check out “The King Is In The Room” now as well as the fun, upbeat music video below.
“‘The King Is In The Room’ was written to set the table for the church as we gather in worship—not just because it carries joy and energy, but because of the truth it declares,” shares Phil Wickham. “This song awakens our hearts to the reality that we are not just a group of people singing in an empty room, but the King—Jesus, the Holy Spirit—is present with us, ready to set people free as we focus on Him.”
This new single is Wickham's first in 2025 and is set to be his largest debut to date. This release follows his 2024 GRAMMY-nominated album, I Believe, which went No. 1 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. "The King Is In The Room" was co-written by Wickham, Ethan Hulse, Josh Farro, Phil Danyew, Tommy Iceland and Taylor Johnson.
Concertgoers can join Phil Wickham, Cody Carnes, and Kristian Stanfill for an in-person, one-of-a-kind worship atmosphere featuring solo and collaborative performances in March and April. The heart of this tour is to create a sacred space where communities gather to encounter Jesus in deep and authentic ways through the collective worship experience. With only four dates available, this tour is almost sold out. The remaining tickets can be purchased here.
