February 28, 2025 (Atlanta, GA) —
Multi-platinum, four-time GRAMMY® Award-winning Christian hip-hop luminary Lecrae unveils a surprise remix to his 2024 single “Your Power.” Today, he collaborates with Brazilian singer Lukas Agustinho for a new rendition of the lauded original, which won Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song at the 66th annual Grammy Awards.
Brazil has always had a special place in my heart…the love, the energy, the faith of the people inspire me deeply,” says Lecrae. “I’m honored to bring ‘Your Power’ to my Brazilian fans in their own language, and getting to do it with an artist as talented and authentic as Lukas Agustinho is a privilege. Their faith and support have blessed me beyond words, and I hope this song blesses them in return. I can’t wait to visit and experience it all in person!"
Transcending borders and captivating audiences worldwide, the remix finds Lecrae rapping in Portuguese for the first time as an offering to his incredibly loyal Brazilian fans. As the first rapper to earn a Dove Award for Artist of the Year, Lecrae has been widely celebrated for his unique ability to blur the lines between church and hip-hop. Now, he’s existing in a world that is devoid of language barriers, too, using music as a tool to rejoice in God.
The original version of “Your Power” featured GRAMMY® Award-winning gospel artist Tasha Cobbs Leonard. The remix, out now, is primed for widespread acclaim and provides a new perspective for listeners.
The remix follows the newly announced signing of Alexxander, Reach Records’ first Latin artist. Continuing the label’s ongoing commitment to developing and amplifying diverse voices within Christian music, Alexxander’s addition reinforces the indie powerhouses’ ability to bridge cultures — further solidifying its influence on a global scale.
