The EP kicks off with the boldly declarative title track, "The Devil Didn't Get Away With It," a vibrant anthem of triumph and renewal. In 2000, William Murphy became a household name in gospel, contributing significantly to the acclaimed song "Praise Is What I Do" with Shekinah Glory Ministry, a project that landed prominently on Billboard’s Gospel Albums chart. Relocating to Atlanta, GA, Murphy served as worship minister at the renowned New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, amplifying his global impact through both preaching and musical ministry.

His 2005 release, All Day, reached #22 on Billboard’s Gospel Albums chart, signaling the beginning of a powerful solo journey. Murphy’s celebrated 2013 project, God Chaser, achieved widespread acclaim, peaking at #3 on Billboard’s Gospel chart and earning him a GRAMMY® nomination. Parallel to his rising musical influence, Murphy accepted the pastoral calling, founding The dReam Center Church of Atlanta in 2006. Today, Murphy also serves as the presiding Bishop of Worship within the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International Ministries under co-founder Bishop Paul S. Morton.
