April 3, 2025 — Innovative ambient instrumental artist, Sky Hymnal, is set to release its latest single, “When I Survey the Wondrous Cross” on Friday, April 4, 2025, via Artist Garden Entertainment. The release will be accompanied by a music video featuring drone footage of the San Diego coastline.

The new release is an ambient guitar instrumental arrangement of the traditional Easter hymn “When I Survey the Wondrous.” Sky Hymnal’s co-creator Nate Sousa arranges and records their music to provide a peaceful and reflective listening experience aligning with the growing popularity of ambient music.

Sky Hymnal continues to lead the way in bringing ambient guitar music into the Christian music space. While the artist has primarily released instrumental traditional hymn arrangements, Sky Hymnal will be releasing its first original ambient composition in early May.
