Nashville, TN — Christian FM Media Group announces the appointment of Jayme Summers as Program Director and Operations Director for its “Today’s Christian Music” network, carried on 167 stations nationwide. Christian FM Media acquired both the “Today’s Christian Music” and “Today’s Worship Music” syndication networks from Salem Media on February 1, concurrently with the sale of the “Fish” stations to EMF.
With a decorated history in Christian broadcasting and an award-winning track record, Jayme brings experience, leadership, and passion to the Christian FM programming team.
Summers, formerly Director of Programming and Operations for Salem Music Network in Nashville, has long been a respected force in Christian media. Her work has not only shaped programming for flagship stations like 94FM The Fish, but she also co-hosted the afternoon show that won the 2023 Radio’s Got Talent competition — a testament to her powerful connection with listeners.
“I couldn’t be more excited to step into this role,” said Summers. “Over the years, I’ve been incredibly fortunate to experience firsthand the passion, dedication, and faith-driven mission of the team at Christian FM. Their love for the Lord and unwavering commitment to serving Him have been truly inspiring. I deeply admire the vision that Jon and Paul have for the future of our company, and I’m thrilled to roll up my sleeves and be part of bringing that vision to life.”
Summers will not only lead programming strategy for “Today’s Christian Music and “Today’s Worship Music” but also be the music and label relations for the network. The Christian FM Media Group is America’s #1 provider of content to Christian music radio, now serving well over 400 radio stations daily across the U.S. and Canada. With 3 distinct music formats available, advanced delivery platforms and America’s best-loved personalities, Christian FM’s mission-first approach equips local stations to compete and thrive in the CCM format.
