Rooted in John 15:13, “I Call You Friend” explores the remarkable truth that Jesus—though He is the Great I Am, the Prince of Peace, and Creator of all things—chooses to walk in close relationship with us. George Case’s journey has been anything but ordinary. From growing up in a musically gifted Southern Baptist family in Pickens, South Carolina, to traveling the world during his 26 years of service in the U.S. military, his life experiences have uniquely shaped his ministry. After his 2022 retirement from the SC Army National Guard, Case returned to music full-time, releasing songs that speak to the heart of the global Church. His 2022 single “There is a Place” reached over half a million views on YouTube and was streamed in more than 100 countries.
