FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — Grace Graber has released her latest punk gem with “Better Now,” an upbeat track that is going for adds at radio now. You can stream it everywhere at https://slinky.to/BetterNow.

The song celebrates forward motion in life, standing as a new chapter in the stories of mental health and healing that Grace has told throughout her burgeoning career.

“I've been doing a lot of self-work. I've been learning how to let go of how I thought life was supposed to look like, how I thought this dream was supposed to look like,” Grace reveals. “When I was going viral on social media for sharing my story, I heard people the misconception going around that I was just marketing my mental health. That’s not at all what I was doing. I was just trying to relate to people. I realize now that instead of being bummed out, I have to take that energy and put it towards my own life. ‘Better Now’ is me seeing how far I've come and choosing a different perspective.”

The song was written with Brandon and Lynnsae Moser, musicians from California. Grace and Brandon had been childhood friends, and they reconnected through Grace’s music and Brandon’s ongoing musicianship through leading worship. This special partnership brought back to the fore Grace’s teenage days of going to concerts in California, watching Brandon’s band open at many of those shows. The result is a track fully embracing Grace Graber’s classic Christian punk identity, with musical stylings reminiscent of Philmont and Relient K.

“Better Now” caps off the first week of Mental Health Month, a global opportunity for communities to have critical conversations about mental health. This songwriter holds a natural gravity and grace in this situation as someone who speaks to the topic year-round. With this song, listeners have the opportunity to consider how they can take the negative narratives others speak over them and choose to celebrate their progress instead.

“It’s unfortunate that people have their misconceptions about what I'm trying to do to relate to people, but the reality is that we have the power to flip that story on its head,” Grace concludes. “We have the power to say, ‘I am going to take this energy and seek healing.’”

“Better Now” is streaming everywhere and going for radio adds now. Grace Graber just finished a successful tour with Seventh Day Slumber, and she is currently booking both more shows supporting them and headlining concerts for the fall.
