Nashville, TN (May 27, 2025) - CJ Prather, a rising voice in Christian music known for her powerhouse vocals and southern rock-meets-worship sound, has officially released her latest single, “This Hallelujah,” to Christian radio. With its driving beat, gritty authenticity, and defiant declaration of faith, the song is poised to connect deeply with listeners across both Christian AC and Christian Country formats.
Produced by AJ Pruis and co-written by Prather alongside Pruis and acclaimed songwriter Paul Duncan, “This Hallelujah” is more than a song—it’s a statement. Blending banjo twang, thunderous rhythm, and soul-stirring conviction, it captures the tension of praising God through life’s storms. Born from a moment when singing hallelujah felt the hardest, the song stands as a triumphant anthem for believers determined to worship through pain, fear, and spiritual battles.
CJ shares, “This song was written during a time when I felt anything but victorious. But I realized that my praise isn’t based on how I feel—it’s based on who God is. He never changes. He’s always good. That’s what fuels this hallelujah. I hope it gives others the same courage it gave me.”
With roots in North Georgia and a musical upbringing shaped by both bluegrass festivals and Sunday morning hymns, CJ Prather has carved out a distinctive sound—uniting her southern heritage with a passion for worship. Her raw, heartfelt delivery has already captured the attention of listeners and radio alike. Kelly Haynes of Victory 91.5 calls the track “a cry of praise that stirs the heart, mind, and spirit,” while DJ Ryno of Praise 88.7 describes it as “a blast of the battle-trumpet for those standing firm in their faith.”
As “This Hallelujah” hits the airwaves, CJ Prather’s message is clear: even when the earth shakes, the hallelujah must not break.
