NASHVILLE, TENN. (JUNE 06, 2025) Today, Fair Trade's breakout artist, Megan Woods, releases her new song, "I Believe You.” Her debut single, “The Truth,” proclaimed who we are in Christ, and the new song, “I Believe You,” dives even deeper into the journey of trust and surrender when life feels overwhelming. “I Believe You” is an honest declaration of trust amidst fear and doubt, and was co-written by Woods, Ethan Hulse, and Colby Wedgeworth. Check out "I Believe You" now.
“I recently walked through a season where I had lost hope,” shares Megan Woods about the inspiration for her new song. “I genuinely didn’t know if I was going to make it through, and then God reminded me of Isaiah 40:31—‘But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.’ I had to surrender everything and choose to believe that God’s promises were still true, even when I couldn’t see it.”
Last year, Woods’ remarkable debut song, "The Truth," accumulated more than 60 million streams, 83,000 user-generated videos, and reached No. 1 on multiple CCM radio charts. She quickly became one of the most impactful new voices in Christian music. By the end of 2024, she was recognized as a Pandora Artist to Watch 2025 and a 2025 Amazon Artist to Watch.
Woods was voted the Christian Music Broadcasters Breakout Artist of the Year and debuted “I Believe You” during their annual Momentum conference at Universal Studios in Orlando, FL, last week. She also received three K-LOVE Fan Awards nominations, including Female Artist Of The Year, Song Of The Year, and Breakout Single Of The Year. She performed her impactful song at the award show televised on TBN last Friday. It will re-air on TBN tonight at 7:30 p.m. EST and will also be available on the TBN+ app.
About Megan Woods: Megan Woods is from Boston, Massachusetts, where God planted a love for music in her at a young age, but she found herself wrestling with her sense of self-worth. Developing her relationship with Christ through songwriting began her healing process, and leaning into God’s love after coming from a place of worthlessness is reflected in all the songs she writes. In 2022, Woods signed with Fair Trade Services (home to MercyMe and Phil Wickham) and is managed by Noble Management under the leadership of Jason Davis.
Woods’ debut single, “The Truth”—a powerful anthem declaring our identity in Christ —connected with fans around the world in a powerful and raw way. The message of “The Truth” accumulated over 60 million streams, 83,000+ user-generated videos, and reached No. 1 on multiple CCM radio charts. Woods quickly became one of the most impactful new voices in Christian music, earning recognition as a 2025 Amazon Artist to Watch and a 2025 Pandora Artist to Watch. With a fast-growing fan base of over 1.2 million social followers, she continues to reach hearts across generations with her authentic message of hope and identity in Jesus.
