Raised in a faith-filled home in Pickens, South Carolina, George’s journey began in a small Baptist church where he committed his life to Christ at just seven years old. The soundtrack of his childhood included his father’s fiddle, his mother’s piano, and the family’s love for music—a love that led George to pick up the guitar and banjo at eight and start performing publicly by eleven. That musical foundation became a lifelong calling, eventually evolving into a ministry that has reached thousands across the U.S. and around the world.

The oil painting of Jesus used on the single’s cover was created by George’s oldest brother, Michael, a gifted writer, artist, educator, and Biblical scholar. Michael completed the painting a few years before his passing in 2018 while George was deployed in Europe with the military. His life and legacy continue to inspire George’s music and ministry.

Having served in the SC Army National Guard and traveled to countries like Israel, Germany, and Poland, George brings a global perspective and deep conviction to his music. His 2022 release, “There is a Place,” reached listeners in over 100 countries and continues to impact lives worldwide.
