Franklin, known for his dynamic vocal prowess and heartfelt lyricism, brings a powerful blend of faith, music, and ministry that aligns perfectly with DARE Records’ mission to uplift and inspire through authentic artistry.

Widely known as “The Adlib King,” Courtney C. Franklin is a powerhouse gospel vocalist, songwriter, and pastor whose prophetic flow and electrifying vocal style have made him one of the most refreshing voices in gospel music. Blending traditional church roots with contemporary worship and international flair, Franklin rose to prominence in the early ‘90s with the hit single “I Believe,” a soul-stirring duet co-written with Kevin Davidson and performed with Lisa Page Brooks. His 2002 debut album Time and tenure with James Fortune & FIYA helped solidify his place in the industry, leading to collaborations with gospel greats like Kirk Franklin, Kim Burrell, Mary Mary, and Yolanda Adams. A former educator and global performer, Franklin has toured internationally and even performed at the Vatican. He currently serves as Senior Pastor of The Power Spot Church and is signed to DARE Records, where he continues to deliver music that uplifts, inspires, and transforms lives.
