PEABOD is celebrating something extra special with the release of his new single “Summer in Seattle,” a bright, feel-good track that comes with a sweet surprise: it’s actually about the arrival of his newborn daughter.
“Wanted to mark this moment and invite you all into the celebration with a song,” PEABOD shared on social media. “Seemed like the right way to announce her arrival.”
The track features a team of collaborators who helped bring the celebration to life, including artwork by Kevin Sirak, A&R by Austin Rojan, horns by Music Before, and a “Forecast Interlude” from Erica at Seattle’s Spirit 105.3. The single was mixed and mastered by GetMXD and Jacob Morris, with PEABOD handling the writing and production himself.
“Thank you all as always for your support and encouragement,” he added. “It means the world.”
“Summer in Seattle” is available now on all streaming platforms. Listen to it on Spotify here.
