Following the success of their singles “Breakthrough” and “Heart For You”, Taylor & Co Worship is proud to announce the release of their highly anticipated ‘Breakthrough EP’. This new project marks a defining moment for the band as they continue to make waves in the UK worship scene.

‘Breakthrough EP’ was written by band co-founder and worship leader, Lucy Taylor, in collaboration with Edward Westley (Acoustic Guitar), and produced by Franco Alani (Keys). The EP also features contributions from Joshua Taylor (Bass), Timothy Stone (Electric Guitar), and Anthony Parkes (Drums & Percussion), each bringing their unique talent to the project.

Lucy Taylor shares the inspiration behind the EP:

“‘Breakthrough EP’ reflects the transformative two-year journey where God broke through some of the most difficult circumstances of my life. When I was at a point where there seemed to be no way forward, I had no choice but to surrender my own plans and dreams to Him. I have never been more certain of God's unwavering love and faithfulness. These songs are a raw expression of the thoughts and emotions I experienced during this journey. His faithfulness carried me through, and the words in these songs became my strength when I felt I had none.

What began as a deeply personal experience has now reached beyond our immediate circle, and I am beyond grateful for Franco Alani’s production, as well as the incredible contributions of Ed, Josh, Tim, and Ant, whose talent, friendship and support helped turn my heart's cry into something we can now share with others."

The EP’s message is rooted in the belief that God’s power is made evident through our trust in His faithfulness, especially in times of darkness and uncertainty. Lucy continues, “Our prayer is that this EP highlights the power of our unshakeable God, who we can always turn to for hope, strength, and guidance. He is the rock that secures our steps, even when everything around us feels uncertain.”

Inspired by Psalm 40:1-3, ‘Breakthrough EP’ is a musical testimony to God’s rescue and provision:

“I waited patiently for the Lord; He inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord.”

God sees us, hears us and gives us the strength by His power to walk in His light.

‘Breakthrough EP’ will be available on all streaming and downloading platforms on 25th July.
