“Left It In The River” arrives on the heels of MacDonald’s breakout success “Desperate,” which held the No. 1 position on the Billboard Christian AC and Mediabase Christian AC charts for seven consecutive weeks. The song, written during a season of grief following the loss of her father, connected with listeners navigating pain, faith, and healing. A reimagined version of “Desperate” featuring GRAMMY Award winner Lauren Daigle is also available now and continues to expand the song’s reach.

This week, Jamie MacDonald earned her first-ever Dove Awards nomination for Pop / Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year with “Desperate.” Earlier this year, she also received three K-LOVE Fan Award nominations, including Song of the Year.
