NASHVILLE, TENN. (AUGUST 15, 2025) Today, artist and songwriter Pat Barrett releases a new song titled "I've Got A Fire." This track features a powerful '80s rock vibe that resonates with all generations. Accompanying the release is an original music video showcasing Barrett's father and his charismatic personality, linked below.
 
"I can still remember those early moments when I said 'yes' to Jesus. I was young then, but now, with the years behind me, that same fire still burns brighter," shares Pat Barrett. '‘I’ve Got A Fire' captures that blaze in my soul, a joy that grows as we celebrate the eternal things no one can ever take away.”
 
This is the second song to be released from his upcoming album, set to be out this fall. This summer, he debuted the song, "Praise The Lord Forever," which feels like Sunday morning in a song. In October, Barrett will be hitting the road for the highly anticipated King of Hearts Tour, featuring Brandon Lake and special guest Franni Cash. Below are the tour dates for cities near you. Barrett has established himself as a leading songwriter in the modern worship genre. He is recognized for co-writing several notable songs, including the No. 1 Billboard Christian Airplay and Billboard Christian AC radio hit “Build My Life,” which has also received RIAA Gold certification. His other popular songs include “Good Good Father,” “The Way (New Horizon),” and the GRAMMY-nominated 2024 hit single “Praise” by Elevation Worship. To date, Barrett has accumulated over 713 million career streams and has 1.8 million listeners on Spotify. He is also a member of the worship collective Sons Of Sunday, whose latest album is now available.
