NASHVILLE, TN (August 19, 2025) – Collective Worth, the worship vision of veteran major-label drummer and songwriter James Billington, has released its debut single, “El Shaddai (I See You In Everything)” featuring gifted vocalist Laura Cashman, to Christian radio. With a sound inspired by modern worship movements like Hillsong UNITED and Elevation Worship, Collective Worth delivers a fresh, anthemic praise experience rooted in both reverence and intimacy.

The voice of El Shaddai belongs to Laura Cashman, a vocalist whose style draws inspiration from — and has been compared to — Stevie Nicks, Natalie Merchant, Kelly Clarkson, and Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland. Her tone is rich and textured, with a unique ability to deliver both the intimacy of a quiet confession and the power of a stadium-filling chorus. “I knew the track was strong, but not this strong,” James recalls. “Laura’s delivery was flawless — she captured the heart of the song from the very first take, as if she’d been singing it her whole life. I just knew people needed to hear this.”

Originally written by Billington as a lullaby and influenced by the tender grace of Edelweiss, the song reflects a peaceful yet triumphant acknowledgment of God’s sovereignty. Its poetic verses and Hebrew refrains invite listeners into a space of quiet reflection, while its sweeping chorus lifts hearts toward heaven. “His Majesty shines so bright, a beautiful and precious sight,” the song proclaims, blending scripture-inspired imagery with a melody that feels timeless.

Produced by acclaimed studio veteran Jim Ebert, “El Shaddai (I See You In Everything)” seamlessly fuses English and Hebrew in a rich tapestry of sound. Gentle yet anthemic, it celebrates the God who is both all-powerful and deeply present. It honors the One who calms storms, lights the darkness, and is revealed in the beauty of creation. “Music represents God’s perfect order of everything.” – J. Billington

Within weeks of meeting, the two had not only finished the recording but also produced a fully realized, cinematic video — an unusually fast timeline for such a polished release. “I never expected to take it to radio so quickly, and certainly not with a video this strong,” James says. “But when something aligns this perfectly, you don’t wait.”

“El Shaddai (I See You In Everything)” has been released to Christian radio and is available now on all major streaming platforms.
