Nationwide - “Blessing and cursing come out of the same mouth. My brothers and sisters, these things should not be this way. Does a spring pour out sweet and bitter water from the same opening? Can a fig tree produce olives, my brothers and sisters, or a grapevine produce figs? Neither can a saltwater spring yield fresh water.” [James 3:10-12]
It has been long overdue, but well worth the wait!
“People have been asking us when they will see something from Polished Arrow as a collective. ‘Bitter Waters’ is the beginning of something big coming later this year.” - iNTELLECT
A dope track by acclaimed producer Nikkuubeats featuring nine of the illest emcess in Christian rap’s underground scene…how is it anything but an instant classic from the jump?
Releasing on August 22, 2025, across digital streaming platforms, Bitter Waters is the first record to feature the entire Polished Arrow Music roster since the indie imprint was established in 2022. Fans of PA have anxiously awaited this moment when the crew of premier lyricists and producers joined their God-gifted talents like Voltron to set the example of what Christian rap is able to accomplish at its peak.
Bitter Waters features PA founding members iNTELLECT, Procyse, and JusJames alongside CHH vets Kaboose, Griffin, and MotionPlus with Rich Colón and the newest members of the roster, m1L and Tae Lamar.
Crafted in the tradition of rap’s “cypher track,” Bitter Waters faces head-on individuals who choose to pervert the Gospel for personal gain.
Polished Arrow Music has quickly become known for setting the bar in the Christian hip hop space with gritty, boom bap tracks that harken to the genre’s “golden era.” Bitter Waters represents the next chapter as the crew not only continues to grow individually but also as their bond forms collectively, taking their talents to previously unreached heights. This record is simply the marker of what is set to follow.
