The award-nominated Texas-based singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist approaches life and music with gratitude and intent. This mindset underscores his music, and it’s why his GRAMMY-nominated, RIAA GOLD-Certified album CHILD OF GOD was the best-selling Christian album of 2024, and his latest, CHILD OF GOD II, is also a best-seller.

The Houston-born singer, who’d temporarily put the idea of making solo music on the back burner to keep building on his band’s success, craved the freedom to make music just for himself again, and in 2021, a revelation inspired him to change course. Forrest opted to take a year off from touring, relocated to Waco, TX, and became a father.

Working completely independently, his self-described “simple worship song”—the powerful “NO LONGER BOUND” [feat. Hulvey]— opened up the floodgates, surging across social media, tallying north of 60.9 million Spotify streams and counting. He parlayed this momentum into CHILD OF GOD. Beyond performing on all 20 tracks, Forrest helmed the production, crafting an immersive album anchored by elements of bright R&B, upbeat pop, and uplifting gospel. Thematically, he clung to a core message. “My whole brand was built around God, and I’m not going to change that—ever,” he affirms.

CHILD OF GOD soared to stratospheric heights upon arrival, capturing his first GRAMMY nomination, a Billboard Music Award (BBMA) finalist spot, a #1 on the iTunes Overall Top Albums Chart, Dove Award nomination, and within a few months’ time, tallied over 1 billion global streams. Given the runaway success, Billboard named him the #1 Top New Christian Artist of 2023, a 2024 BBMA finalist for Top Christian Artist. Concurrently, the signature “GOOD DAY” became a Christian radio hit, also named a BBMA finalist and won a Dove Award for Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year, with Frank winning for “New Artist of the Year.” Fall 2024 saw the release of the CHILD OF GOD (DELUXE) album featuring seven new tracks, including the RIAA Gold-certified track "YOUR WAY'S BETTER," "HEAVEN ON THIS EARTH" with Torey D’Shaun, and new holiday original, "THE PRESENT."

 

The first half of 2025 saw the release of "drop," "SUNRISE,” "NOTHING ELSE (with Thomas Rhett)," “NO L’s,” "CELEBRATION," and "AMEN." In May Frank wrapped his completely sold out "CHILD OF GOD TOUR Part 2,” and is experienced the explosive viral growth of "YOUR WAY'S BETTER,” which became a BILLBOARD Top 100 hit, driven by the viral dance that took the internet by storm. In May he released CHILD OF GOD II and recently released several viral tracks including "GOD'S GOT MY BACK," "LEMONADE" and "SELAH." His latest track comes as he teams up with Crowder for the song "THE ROCK."
