NASHVILLE, TENN. (AUGUST 22, 2025) Powerhouse vocalist and author Tasha Layton has debuted a new song titled "The One You Love," which is available today and features Rachael Lampa. This track will be part of her upcoming album, Life In Me, set to be released on October 10th. You can pre-save the album now.

"This song really speaks to who we are in Christ," shares Tasha Layton. "When the world says so many things about who I am and who I'm not, I can rest in the beautiful truth that...I am the one He loves. Nothing else matters more than that. It's a soul-satisfying truth that brings us peace despite our circumstances."

Throughout this year, Layton has released several songs from Life In Me that showcase the album's diverse styles. These include the upbeat gratitude anthem "Thank You Isn't Enough" featuring the Choir Room, the powerful ballad "Singing In the Dark," the beautiful title track, and the No. 1 single "Worship Through It" featuring Chris Brown. In addition to The Choir Room, Rachael Lampa, and Elevation Worship's Chris Brown, other collaborations on the project include Colton Dixon and Tim Hughes.

Layton continues, “This album is so special to me! Each track really represents a season from my walk with Jesus. In its entirety, the album is a beautiful picture of His life in me."

Just announced, Layton will headline her fall "Worship Through It" Tour with special guests Jonathan Traylor and Cade Thompson. This event is designed to create a space for experiencing Jesus, regardless of one's current situation. Tickets are on sale now here. Following this tour, she will once again join Lysa Terkeurst for the fall "Trust Again Tour" in November, with tickets also available for purchase now.

ABOUT TASHA LAYTON: Since first captivating radio audiences in 2020, Tasha Layton has become one of Christian music’s most celebrated female vocalists. Her full-length debut, How Far, featured the hit single and No. 1 radio song and title cut “How Far,” along with the No. 1 smash “Look What You’ve Done,” and her breakthrough hit, “Into The Sea (It’s Gonna Be OK).” In 2023, her song “Never” also charted in the top Christian songs for the year. Her 2024 song, “Worship Through It (feat. Chris Brown)” earned her another No.1 radio single, her third in her career. Her holiday albums, This Is Christmas and the GMA Dove Award-nominated album This Is Christmas (Live From Fisher Center), have also become seasonal classics. Before her solo career, she appeared on Season 9 of American Idol and spent four years as a backup vocalist for pop superstar Katy Perry. Layton is also a published author with her guided prayer journal, Boundless: Moving Freedom From Your Head To Your Heart, Look What You’ve Done, and the children’s book A Big and Boundless Love. She and her husband, Keith, share two children, Levi and Lyla, and reside in Thompson Station, Tenn., just outside of Nashville.
