Ennis, TX – Award-winning Contemporary Christian artist Brandon Hixson has officially released his brand-new album, The Dawn of Mercy. The 10-song collection showcases Hixson’s heart for worship, his gift for storytelling, and his ability to connect faith with real-life experiences.

The album features several standout songs that have already been making an impact nationwide. “The Man In The Middle” and “You Broke The Silence” both recently climbed to the top of the Independent Christian Radio Charts, resonating with audiences for their powerful messages of hope and redemption. Other highlights include “My Grandparents Prayed”—a heartfelt tribute to Hixson’s grandparents, Louis and Virginia Hixson, who raised him and his twin sister Shawntee in Dawson, Texas. A lifelong musician, Hixson graduated from East Texas Baptist University in 2001 with a degree in Music Education. Born and raised in Dawson, Texas, Hixson has never forgotten the small-town roots that inspire much of his songwriting. Today, he and his wife Karen live in Ennis, Texas with their two children, Caleb and Caylin.
