Nashville, TN (August 26, 2025) - Christian artist Maria Jacobs’ new single “Perfect Is Your Will” has been released to Christian radio. The moving track, produced by Pete Tokar and written by Jacobs, follows the success of her previous single “I Believe,” which debuted at #6 on the CRC Weekly chart, held a Top 10 position for six consecutive weeks and ten weeks overall, peaked at #2 on two separate occasions, and climbed to #3 on the CRC Monthly chart.

“Perfect Is Your Will” serves as the title track of Jacobs’ 10th solo album, which also marks her first full-length Christian project. The song captures the heart of surrender, calling listeners to seek God’s direction above all else. With lyrics like “Our hearts shall be transformed as You renew our minds. With all we have, we lay down our lives”, the single is both a declaration and a prayer, offering worship rooted in obedience and trust. Born of Syrian Lebanese and Armenian descent, Maria Jacobs is a nationally recognized Christian and jazz recording artist, as well as a Christian author and the Vocal Jazz professor at Kent State University. She is also a licensed music educator with a career spanning over 150 original songs. Her ninth album was accepted for Grammy review in the Best Jazz Vocal Album category for the 66th Annual Grammy Awards, and she has also charted successfully on smooth jazz and groove jazz charts.

Now, with Perfect Is Your Will, Jacobs makes a bold statement of faith, blending her acclaimed vocal artistry with a deep spiritual message. “Your perfect will, we seek Your perfect will. Oh God of all things great, sovereign is Your name and perfect is Your will,” she sings in the chorus, offering a reminder that God’s sovereignty is not only worthy of worship but is also the anchor for every generation.
