Dallas, TX - Hip-hop artist Philip Anthony is expanding the reach of his acclaimed project A League of My Own (ALOMO) with a long-awaited streaming release on September 5, 2025. Originally released exclusively for purchase on June 6, 2025, the 7-track EP will now be available on all major streaming platforms, complete with updated cover art designed specifically for this release.
As part of this new chapter, Philip Anthony is unveiling a brand-new music video for the fan-favorite track “You Probably Right” (YPR).
The single, known for its sharp wordplay and introspective yet confident tone, will be brought to life visually through a cinematic video directed by Jesse V of HisElect Media, further showcasing Philip’s artistry and vision.
ALOMO represents Philip Anthony’s triumphant return to music after a five-year hiatus marked by personal trials, including a health setback and a period of deep reflection on faith and social issues. The project blends raw honesty with celebratory energy, making it both a personal statement and a cultural contribution. From the title track “ALOMO” to the anthemic “God Got Me” and the powerful collaboration “Cap and Gown,” the EP affirms Philip’s place as an artist in a league of his own.
“With this EP, I wanted to tell my story on my own terms,” said Philip Anthony. “Releasing it for purchase first was about valuing the art, but now I’m excited for more people to hear it, connect with it, and see the full vision — especially with the updated cover art and the new video for ‘You Probably Right.’”
The A League of My Own (ALOMO) EP was mixed and mastered by Kyren Monteiro at Frequency Canvas and features visuals from Andre of AG Graphics. Music videos for “ALOMO,” “Fire,” “God Got Me,” “Cap and Gown,” and “Basement” have already made waves, and the new release of “You Probably Right” is set to continue that momentum.
