Nashville, TN — Country artist Becca Bowen shares her most personal release to date with the soul-stirring new single “Mama’s Prayer,” out today, September 19. The moving track, a collaboration with GRAMMY-nominated songwriter and longtime producer Sal Oliveri (Chris Stapleton, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney), portrays life’s hardships and the comfort of having “your person”—whether it’s a mother, father, spouse, or friend—who anchors you through faith, love, and resilience. “Mama’s Prayer” is also officially impacting radio now, marking a powerful new chapter in Bowen’s journey. “Mama’s Prayer is my favorite song that I have released so far,” said Becca in an exclusive interview with Celeb Secrets. “The meaning of the song is powerful and I think many people will be able to relate to it. Personally, I have had some low points in my life where I just wanted to run away from it all, but my mom was always there for me. She kept me surrounded in prayer. The song reflects God’s love through the story of a mom and her daughter.”

Co-written by Becca Bowen and Sal Oliveri as their second collaboration together—following last year’s fan-favorite “This Christmas”—“Mama’s Prayer” draws inspiration from the biblical story of the Prodigal Son. The lyrics highlight redemption and God’s unconditional love, told through the lens of a mother’s unwavering prayers. Rooted in Becca’s own life, the song also pays tribute to her mother’s faith and support through her most difficult seasons. The single’s cover art, featuring a photo of Becca with her mom, serves as an intentional visual extension of the song’s heartfelt message.

That same emotional authenticity is what fans have come to know and love from Becca, both in her music and her dynamic live performances. A natural entertainer, she has headlined shows and festivals across the U.S., opened for Colt Ford, and performed at Nashville’s beloved Whiskey Jam. A South Carolina native, Becca embraces the juxtaposition of being both a true Southern Belle and boldly outdoorsy—a confidence that shines through in her music. She released her debut single “Love It, Leave It” in 2020 before going on to win Season 5 of the Outdoor Channel’s reality show For Love or Likes.
