After celebrating 40 years since their debut Voices in Shadows, legendary alternative band The Choir has officially launched a Kickstarter campaign for their 20th studio album, Dragonfly — their most ambitious project to date.
Dragonfly will be a double album (2 CDs / 2 LPs) featuring 20 brand-new songs, marking a poetic milestone for the band: forty years, twenty albums, and one final artistic statement that may also be their last.
To coincide with this anniversary, The Choir is also commemorating 25 years of their acclaimed 2000 release Flap Your Wings with a deluxe remastered limited-edition version, complete with two newly recorded songs.
The Kickstarter campaign offers fans a variety of exclusive rewards, including:
Limited vinyl and CD editions
The Flap Your Wings deluxe reissue
T-shirts, posters, and signed collectibles
Unique fan experiences with the band
The band shared in their announcement:
“We ride once again… or one last time. No one knows. Four decades and still chasing beauty with you. We're very glad you are here.”
Fans can support the campaign now and explore all available tiers and merch at the official Kickstarter page:
