NASHVILLE, Tenn. (OCTOBER 10, 2025) Acclaimed singer and author Tasha Layton releases her brand new album, Life In Me, available everywhere today. Listen to this dynamic collection of songs that represents Layton's life with Christ.

To celebrate today's release, the official lyric video for the song "Meet Me In The Valley" has debuted. This song was written by Layton, her husband, Keith Everette Smith, Jacob Sooter, and Meredith Andrews. Inspired by a personal experience, Layton hopes that anyone who listens to this song will remember that God meets them in their valleys. He is present in their struggles, ensuring that they are never alone.

Over the course of this year, Layton has shared several songs from Life In Me, highlighting the album’s wide-ranging styles. These include the upbeat gratitude anthem “Thank You Isn't Enough” featuring the Choir Room, the emotive ballad “Singing In the Dark,” the stirring title track, and the No. 1 single “Worship Through It” featuring Chris Brown. Other collaborators on the project include Rachael Lampa, Colton Dixon, and Tim Hughes.

Earlier this week, Layton introduced her new album with a special Q&A led by podcaster and author Rachel Awtrey in front of a live audience. Attendees also heard a selection of the new songs in special string arrangements and even surprised with guest Rachael Lampa.

Layton is currently on her fall “Worship Through It” Tour with special guests Jonathan Traylor and Cade Thompson, creating an immersive space for fans to encounter Jesus no matter where they are in their journey. Following this tour, she will join Lysa Terkeurst for the fall “Trust Again Tour” in November. Tickets remain available for select dates on each tour here.

ABOUT TASHA LAYTON: Since first captivating radio audiences in 2020, Tasha Layton has become one of Christian music’s most celebrated female vocalists. Her full-length debut, How Far, featured the hit single and No. 1 radio song and title cut “How Far,” along with the No. 1 smash “Look What You’ve Done,” and her breakthrough hit, “Into The Sea (It’s Gonna Be OK).” In 2023, her song “Never” also charted in the top Christian songs for the year. Her 2024 song, “Worship Through It (feat. Chris Brown),” earned her another No.1 radio single, her third in her career. This spring, she released her first live-recorded worship album, Worship Through It Live. Her holiday albums, This Is Christmas and the GMA Dove Award-nominated album This Is Christmas (Live From Fisher Center), have also become seasonal classics. Before her solo career, she appeared on Season 9 of American Idol and spent four years as a backup vocalist for pop superstar Katy Perry. Layton is also a published author with her guided prayer journal, Boundless: Moving Freedom From Your Head To Your Heart, Look What You’ve Done, and the children’s book A Big and Boundless Love. She and her husband, Keith, share two children, Levi and Lyla, and reside in Thompson Station, Tenn., just outside of Nashville.
