NASHVILLE, TN (October 14, 2025) - Christian singer and songwriter Elaina Smith has released her heartfelt single, “Let Go and Let God,” to Christian radio. Produced by award-winning and Grammy-nominated artist Gordon Mote, the song delivers a message of peace and surrender, reminding believers that true freedom comes when they place every worry in God’s hands.
A native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Elaina Kay Smith has been surrounded by Christian music since childhood. With her gentle soprano voice and gift for writing deeply personal songs of faith, she is quickly becoming one of the most inspiring new artists in Christian music. As a wife, mother of three, and lead vocalist at Calvary Chapel Chattanooga, Elaina draws from real-life experiences of trust and perseverance, turning them into songs that comfort and encourage.
“Let Go and Let God” reflects a journey many believers share as they struggle to release control when life feels uncertain. The song opens with honest vulnerability: “When troubles come and life is hard, it’s so easy to forget whose child you are.” Through each verse and chorus, Elaina leads listeners toward the peace that comes from surrender, singing, “Let go and let God do what only He can do. Trust in Him, He’ll pull through. Be still and know…”
Elaina wrote the song during a season of uncertainty when she was learning to rest in God’s promises. “There are times when we try to fix everything ourselves, but God is simply asking us to trust Him,” she shares. “This song is a reminder that He’s able to do more than we can imagine if we’ll just let go.”
With its soothing production and heartfelt message, “Let Go and Let God” beautifully fits within Inspirational and Christian Soft AC formats. It is a reminder to pause, pray, and trust that God is still in control.
“Let Go and Let God” has been released to Christian radio and is available on all digital platforms.
