DULUTH, MN — Presence Music returns this Christmas with “Who Knew (Gift Wrapped),” a powerful new single featuring acclaimed Christian hip-hop artist Blake Whiteley. The high-energy collaboration blends worship and rap into a dynamic reminder of the true meaning of Christmas — that the greatest gift wasn’t found under a tree, but on a cross.

“Who Knew (Gift Wrapped)” connects the manger to the cross, declaring that the miracle of Christmas was never just about a baby born in Bethlehem — it was about a Savior who came to rescue humanity. Written by Leah Monson and Blake Whiteley and produced by ZK Productions, the track delivers both lyrical depth and sonic intensity. Its bold message challenges listeners to look beyond the season’s surface and embrace the eternal significance of Jesus’ birth, sacrifice, and resurrection.

Blake Whiteley shares, “When I wrote these verses, I wasn’t trying to make another Christmas song — I was trying to remind myself what the real gift actually is. We spend so much time chasing things that fade, but Jesus gave us something eternal. These lyrics came from realizing I didn’t deserve His grace, but He gave it anyway. That’s what Christmas is all about — God stepping into our brokenness, changing who we are, and giving us life and purpose we could never earn. With national radio support through Kingdom Impact Group and distribution via NRT Music, “Who Knew (Gift Wrapped)” is positioned to make a major impact across both worship and Christian hip-hop audiences this holiday season. Presence Music will support the single through a national Christmas tour with Aaron Shust, Mark Schultz, and The Voice winner Todd Tilghman, in addition to a local Wisconsin Christmas tour.
