This strategic partnership positions Mitchell for increased live performance opportunities while maintaining his commitment to authentic ministry through music and youth engagement.

Justin Mitchell is not your typical Christian hip-hop artist. His music is deeply rooted in the tension of feeling misunderstood---a theme that echoes through his lyrics with raw honesty and emotional depth. Sonically, he blends East Coast boom-bap with trap-infused gospel and cinematic textures, creating a sound as layered as his message. Formerly known as Primisis, Justin brings over a decade of experience as a performer, indie tour artist, and conference speaker---including performances at SXSW and opening slots for KB, Derek Minor, and Social Club Misfits.

As a full-time student pastor in the Raleigh/Durham area, Mitchell brings a rare dual perspective to every performance---understanding both the creative demands of live hip-hop and the spiritual needs of young people navigating faith in today's culture. His recent main stage performance at Flavor Fest 2025 showcased his ability to command large audiences while delivering a message that resonates with authenticity and power.

“I'm not chasing the big stages or trying to “make it” like I used to," Mitchell shared. "I understand I'm a beloved son first, and everything I do flows from that identity first. My heart is simply fixed on if to given the opportunity to be in front of people to share my heart through my art, then it is to let them experience the goodness of Jesus through the music. Whether it's 70 people under a pavilion or at community outreach event or 2,000+ at a conference, if God opens the door, my heart’s posture will remain the same and I'm there.”

The booking partnership was made official during this year's Flavor Fest 2025 Conference (25th Anniversary) at Crossover Church in Tampa, FL, where Kingdom Impact Group and Mitchell signed the agreement in the Clear Hits Radio media room during the conference.
