Today (11.14), Capitol Christian Music Group artist Jamie MacDonald releases her newest single “My Family.” The track marks the next single from her self-titled debut album, ‘Jamie MacDonald,’ releasing January 23, 2026 via Capitol CMG. Pre-order here.

With its stripped-back production and bare-soul honesty, “My Family” represents a defining moment in MacDonald’s story. The song chronicles her shift from striving to surrender, allowing God to take His rightful place in the healing process. Built around one of her most affecting vocal performances, the track captures real emotion with simplicity and clarity.

“I know what it’s like to watch my family falling apart, and for years I’ve tried so hard to pick up the broken pieces, exhausting myself trying to hold it together,” shares MacDonald. “This is a song of surrender, giving it all back to God and remembering that His heart beats for restoring families. He is committed to finishing what He started. He sent Jesus for this very reason so we could all be one big family forever.”

As the song unfolds, the chorus becomes its emotional centerpiece. MacDonald’s voice lifts with conviction, turning quiet reflection into a sweeping declaration of trust. The moment feels both personal and universal, offering a sense of hope that reaches beyond her own story. It is a powerful expression of release, healing, and the belief that God can restore what feels broken.

“My Family” continues to highlight the heart of MacDonald’s upcoming debut. The album is shaped by real stories, honest questions, and the steady work of God in her life. Many of its songs were written in seasons of uncertainty and rebuilding, creating a body of work that invites listeners into an intimate and uplifting journey.

Her breakout hit “Desperate” spent seven weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard and Mediabase Christian AC charts and earned her a Dove Award nomination along with three K-LOVE Fan Award nominations, including Song of the Year. A reimagined version featuring GRAMMY® winner Lauren Daigle continues to reach new audiences. MacDonald’s current radio single, “Left It in the River,” is continuing its incredible momentum, breaking into the Top 5 on the Christian radio charts. The track has also landed on Spotify’s Viral 50 – US chart and has surpassed 20 million global streams to date.

MacDonald will appear as a special guest on Chris Tomlin’s “Christmas with Chris Tomlin Tour” this year and will join Phil Wickham and Tauren Wells on tour in 2026. For tour dates, pre-orders, and more information, visit www.jamiemacdonaldmusic.com.
