NASHVILLE, TN (January 14, 2026) – Linda Boles has released her new single, What Can We Do, to Christian radio, offering a heartfelt and timely reminder of the Church’s calling to move beyond words and reflect the love of Christ through action. Rooted in compassion and shaped by a lifetime of faith, music, and service, the song asks a simple but piercing question that resonates in today’s hurting world: what can we do to truly show that Jesus’ love is real?
Born into a family steeped in musical tradition, Boles was surrounded by hymns and melodies from an early age, forming a foundation that would follow her throughout her life. Alongside her passion for music, she devoted more than four decades to teaching, serving others both in and out of the classroom. Through seasons of joy and profound sorrow, including the loss of her first husband, songwriting became a place of refuge and renewal, allowing her to process grief while holding tightly to God’s faithfulness.
Those experiences shape the emotional core of What Can We Do. The song gives voice to broken lives and hidden pain, acknowledging people weighed down by loss, pride, fear, and unmet needs. Lines that speak of broken dreams, people crying in the street, and the search for warmth, food, shelter, and hope reflect a world longing for compassion. Rather than leaving listeners in despair, the song turns the focus outward, urging believers to bring Jesus to others in tangible ways and to meet needs with love, mercy, and unity.
Produced by John Johnson of TuneDesigner, the track supports its message with sincerity and purpose, reinforcing the song’s call for believers to unite in sharing Christ’s love. As the chorus repeats its central question and ultimately offers an answer, the song becomes not just a reflection, but a call to action for anyone willing to live out their faith.
With What Can We Do, Linda Boles invites listeners and the Church as a whole to look beyond themselves, to recognize every person as a brother or sister, and to demonstrate that the love of Jesus is more than a belief. It is something meant to be lived, shared, and seen by the world.
