NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 6, 2026) Micah Christopher releases his single, “White Knuckles,” with Integrity Music today, an honest reflection on the freedom found when we surrender everything to Jesus. Known for his nuanced guitar work and emotive songwriting, Micah offers "White Knuckles" as a powerful inside look into his own battle with control. Listen to the single now.

“I wrote this song in a season when I realized how much I was trying to control everything in my life,” shares Micah Christopher. “As a dad, a husband, and someone stepping into new opportunities, I kept finding myself gripping tightly to plans and outcomes I could never really control. The image that wouldn’t leave me was my hands on a steering wheel, holding on way too tight.”

Authentic, soulful, and gritty, “White Knuckles” is rooted in Matthew 11:28–30 and Psalm 46:10. The lyrics serve as a reminder that Jesus invites us to rest, trust, and surrender — and that surrender isn’t always one dramatic moment, but a daily decision to slow down, breathe, and place everything back in God’s hands.

He adds, “My hope is that this song gives people permission — and a reminder — to stop carrying everything on their own. So many of us are walking around with pressure, anxiety, and fear we’ve been holding for a long time, sometimes without even realizing it. We don’t have to grip so hard. We can’t do it all — and we can trust Him with the things we’re afraid to let go of.”

This single is the first of several new songs releasing this spring as Micah Christopher continues to point people to Jesus with heartfelt lyrics, storytelling, and musicianship.
