The spirit of early 2000s metalcore is roaring back to life, and Collective Dust is leading the charge. Hailing from Clarksville, TN, the five-piece makes a bold first impression with their EP "Do People Even Use CDs Anymore?"
Blending quirky, synth-laced flourishes with chugging riffs and thunderous percussion, the band captures the raw energy and unfiltered emotion that defined the genre’s golden era. Yet there’s nothing dated about their execution — it’s a revitalized take on a beloved sound, packed with modern intensity and charisma.
With momentum building, Collective Dust is set to bring their high-octane live show across the U.S., paving the way for their upcoming full-length album. For fans craving the chaos, hooks, and heart of 2000s metalcore, the revival is here — and it’s louder than ever.
The EP, "Do People Even Use CDs Anymore?," from Collective Dust is available now to purchase and stream via The Charon Collective right here.
