Houston, TX ... Just in time for the resurrection season, the Mount Olive Baptist Church Choir celebrates the glory and majesty of Jesus in their debut, Reign. The Texas based choral aggregation, made up of both the young and the young at heart takes a full swing at bat providing an Amen response to the scripture, let everything that have breath, praise the Lord.

“It’s a natural response,” says choir leader, Darius Alexander. “I am blessed to have a group of people who not only love God, but love to sing his praises, and are united in the spirit of togetherness. This is just how we do it every Sunday at Mount Olive, and we wanted to share our bursting from the seams joy of serving Jesus unashamedly Sunday worship experience with others.”

Reign is augmented by the inimitable vocal stylings of Lillian Lloyd with production assistance handled by Stellar award nominated choir statesman, Demetrius West. “It’s good to work with people who derive joy from the things that they do,” West says. “I have a special place in my heart naturally for choirs as well as southern region singers who deliver their heart and soul in their performance. We used to go to church for one or two things, and one of them was definitely to hear the choir sing. Mount Olive restores my faith in bringing that spirit back and at full capacity.”
