Hoopeston, IL — Brightstar, the Christian rock duo known for their raw honesty and ministry-driven music, is seeing strong national momentum with their latest single, “What Lives In Me,” now sitting at #5 on the Christian Music Weekly (CMW) Rock chart for the week of April 1, 2026. The song has steadily climbed the chart in recent weeks, gaining momentum with increasing spins and strong support from stations across the format. “What Lives In Me” is resonating deeply with listeners who have walked through trauma, anxiety, and personal struggles, offering a message of hope rooted in faith and identity in Christ.
“This song is incredibly personal,” says Jessi Enyiaku of Brightstar. “It speaks to the internal battles so many people are facing quietly. To see it connecting at radio like this tells us that it’s reaching people right where they are.”
Adam Wood adds, “Our heart has always been to create music that meets people in real life, not just where things are polished. Hearing how this song is impacting listeners reminds us that God is still moving in the middle of people’s stories.”
Blending modern Christian rock with cinematic textures and metalcore influence, “What Lives In Me” continues Brightstar’s mission to address mental and spiritual health through music that is both honest and hope-filled.
Brightstar will perform a special acoustic set this summer at Kingdom Come Festival (www.kingdomcomefestival.com) on June 19 in Greentown, Indiana, at the Howard County Vietnam Veterans Organization’s “Healing Fields.” Widely recognized as one of the premier Christian rock festivals in the country, the multi-day, free-admission event draws fans from across the nation and features artists such as Disciple, Spoken, and The Protest, with more announcements continuing throughout the season. Brightstar will be performing on the Subculture Stage.
Brightstar operates under Brightstar Ministries, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting mental, emotional, spiritual, and neurodivergent well-being through music, resources, and discipleship.
