Legendary Christian artist Steven Curtis Chapman has released a brand new instrumental version of his beloved hit song “I Will Be Here,” offering fans a fresh way to experience the timeless track.
Originally written as a deeply personal promise to his wife, the song has long resonated with listeners as a powerful expression of commitment and enduring love. Now, Chapman is inviting fans to make the song part of their own meaningful moments through this new instrumental release.

“‘I Will Be Here’ was written as a promise to my beautiful bride — one that was never meant to just live in a song, but in a life together,” Chapman shared. “Today, I’m thankful to share ‘I Will Be Here (Instrumental)’ -- a new version I created to live underneath your moments, your vows, your memories.”
The instrumental version also holds special significance for Chapman and his family, as it appears in the audiobook for his and Mary Beth Chapman’s newly released book, Still Here.
“We used this recording as the ending of the audio version of the new book Mary Beth and I just released, ‘Still Here,’ which is actually read by the two of us,” Chapman added. “My hope is it can be woven into the soundtrack of the stories you’re still writing and living… by God’s grace.”
Fans can stream “I Will Be Here (Instrumental)” now and also check out the audiobook version of Still Here, narrated by the Chapmans themselves.
