NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Rising Christian rock band ALTIRA returns today with their new single, “Death of Fear,” the title track from their upcoming EP, available June 5. The release is accompanied by the band’s first official music video, marking a major milestone in the group’s visual and creative evolution.

Following the breakout momentum of their previous single “Black Hole,” which climbed into the Top 5 on Christian Music Weekly charts and continues to gain traction across radio and streaming platforms, ALTIRA steps forward with a bold, defining statement that captures the heart of their message.

“Death of Fear” is more than a follow-up—it’s a foundation.

Driven by soaring vocals, dynamic guitar work, and a powerful rhythmic backbone, the track confronts fear head-on, calling listeners into a place of surrender, courage, and spiritual clarity. The accompanying music video brings that message to life through a cinematic lens, visually portraying the tension between fear and freedom in a way that deepens the impact of the song.

“In my life, I have frequently been a slave to fear,” says Dawn Michele. “The inner critic inside me has pushed and pulled me at every turn, crowding out God’s voice and building a wall between myself and the truth of who I am as a child of God. This song is a battle cry. No matter how many times fear has beaten me down and stolen my joy and my peace, I will rise again through the power of God’s truth — and that truth will set me free.”

As the title track of the upcoming EP, “Death of Fear” serves as both a thematic anchor and a turning point for ALTIRA’s current season—bridging the early momentum of “Black Hole” with a broader, more fully realized artistic vision.

With growing engagement across radio, media, streaming, and live audiences, ALTIRA continues to build on a wave of momentum that shows no signs of slowing. Following the breakout success of “Black Hole,” the band’s second single, “Here I Am,” released in April and has also been gaining traction across digital streaming platforms, including several editorial placements. As “Death of Fear” begins its own trajectory, ALTIRA is carving out a distinct space within the Christian rock landscape.

At its core, “Death of Fear” represents a defining moment—not just for this release cycle, but for the message ALTIRA is bringing to listeners navigating real-life struggles.

And with this release, that message is clearer than ever.
