DULUTH, Minn. – May 22, 2026 – Presence Music returns with their newest single, “Pick Up That Book,” an uplifting pop-country anthem encouraging listeners to rediscover hope, healing, and transformation through the Word of God. Blending infectious melodies with a bold faith-centered message, the song arrived today on all digital streaming platforms.
Written by Leah Monson and Brandon Monson and produced by Laurel Taylor, “Pick Up That Book” speaks directly to the emptiness many experience while searching for peace in everything except God. Through energetic instrumentation, singalong hooks, and heartfelt lyrics, Presence Music challenges listeners to move beyond surface-level religion and lean into the life-changing truth found in Scripture.
Lines like “There’s no author that is better than the Father” and “The words in red will draw you in deeper” anchor the song’s message in both encouragement and conviction, reminding listeners that real transformation begins by knowing God personally through His Word.
Inspired by artists like CAIN, We The Kingdom, and Anne Wilson, Presence Music intentionally leaned into a feel-good pop-country sound designed to get listeners moving while still carrying a clear Gospel-centered message. At its core, “Pick Up That Book” points to Jesus as the only true answer for the emptiness we carry and to Scripture as the place where lasting change begins.
The release arrives as Presence Music continues preparing for a full summer of live events, including approximately 30 dates and multiple festival appearances. With “Pick Up That Book,” the band offers a joyful, accessible anthem that fits both radio and live settings while inviting listeners back to the truth and hope found in God’s Word.
“Pick Up That Book” is available now.
