Walsh, a respected Nashville artist who has spent the past decade building his career, was recently named a 2026 recipient of the prestigious NSAI Milestone Award, further marking him as one of country music’s emerging voices. Walsh has also inked a multi-year publishing deal with North Chapel Music.
“It’s a dream come true for me to get to work with a legend like Benny Brown and the rest of the staff at North Chapel Music,” says Walsh. “I’ve been busting my tail for 13 years in this town, and this means the world. I’ve never had a plan B, so I’m very grateful and blessed to see the hard work starting to pay off.”
Originally from the small town of Blue Rapids, Kansas, Walsh brings a grounded authenticity to country music shaped by heartland roots, family values and years of hard-earned experience on the road. Now based in Nashville, he has built a reputation as a dynamic live performer through years of touring nationally and internationally while also earning cuts with numerous country artists as a songwriter. His smooth, soulful vocal delivery paired with traditional country storytelling continues to resonate with fans across generations.
“Goodyears” delivers a heartfelt country story rooted in family, nostalgia and the lessons passed down from one generation to the next. The song also features a nod to NASCAR standout Tyler Reddick, who is also the grandson of North Chapel Records owner Benny Brown, adding a personal connection to the racing-inspired anthem.
Walsh will also appear as part of the Field & Stream-sponsored songwriter event on May 29 in celebration of Cracker Barrel 400 weekend at Nashville Superspeedway. He will also be a part of the debut North Chapel Music’s “I Believe” event at The Pinnacle’s “The Lawn” space in the downtown Nashville Yards district.
“Goodyears” will be available June 19 on all digital streaming platforms. Walsh is in the studio putting the finishing touches on his upcoming release.
