Hailing from Austin, TX, Heartbound is a band that refuses to be confined by genre boundaries. Blending elements of metal, hardcore, and emo, the group crafts a sound that is both aggressive and emotionally resonant. The band describes their style as “nostalgic Christcore,” a phrase that reflects not only their musical influences, but also the deeply introspective, spiritual, and personal themes woven throughout their work.
"Lamentations" features seven tracks that strike a compelling balance between crushing heaviness and raw vulnerability. The EP is driven by punishing riffs, urgent rhythms, and emotionally charged melodies that carry equal parts weight and heart.
